LACTIC ACID BACILLUS (Lactobacillus sporogenes) is quite stable during
feed processing handling and upon storage at room temperature. Heat,
gastric acidity, bile and prophylactic antibiotics least affect them.
The spores, after germination inside the gut, undergo proliferation and
produce lactic acid.
